Welcome to the Sunday Funnies

A new paid tier supporting a great cause.

Hey friends,

Last year, thanks to our paid subscription tier, we sent a bunch of money to Pregnancy Justice. But, as that paid tier was comprised of one longform story—and that story has since ended!—I’m going to shift the paid tier to something a bit more actionable.

Enter: the Sunday Funnies.

(Yeah, the first one’s coming on a Monday, I know. Yesterday got away from me because weekend’s are… well, brutal.)

In addition to an extra mini-essay, the Sunday Funnies will be a little roundup of the things we’ve been enjoying as a family: movies, shows, food, books, toys, games, whatever. Plus, as exposing my kids to good music is incredibly important to me, links to whatever new jams we’re all digging (such as the new single from Mourn. Seriously, Jules and I listened to it like seven times in a row in the car the other day. That said, you can expect to get as much Moana as you do Mourn).

This year, all of the money made through subscriptions will be going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Carolinas. Thanks for being a paying member and helping support an excellent cause.
